isn't it funny how we're all so protective of our hearts, our thoughts, our feelings? so much so that we keep ourselves from falling in love. are the days of head-over-heels gone? so many books, so many shows, so many people tell us to not put ourselves out there too much. to guard ourselves from getting hurt.
but why?
isn't that part of the risk?
because, after all, the reward is so great. right? of course it is.
and while the hurt can be so deep ... isn't it better to have loved once than to never have loved at all?
i hope so.
